ERM will hold a new set of workshops in our Problem Sites series:
The Registration Deadline is November 30th

The goal behind these sessions is to discuss technical and management challenges facing corporate remediation managers in remediating problem sites.
Understanding your site: a problem undefined is a problem unsolved.
- The value of high resolution site investigation for developing a rigorous conceptual site model for heterogeneous and bedrock sites. Better information, faster and cheaper.
- The value of source area in groundwater remediation, does source remediation really help groundwater mitigation?
Managing risks on problem sites: the monsters under the bed.
- Evaluating and mitigating vapor intrusion: regulations and technology
- Managing residual plumes: using MNA as part of the remedial plan, proving that it’s working
- Effective communications and stakeholder management: cooperation not confrontation
Finishing the job: can you ever really be done?
- Engineering for closure: optimizing the operation of remedial systems (stop remediating remediated areas)
- How will you know when you’re done?
