Water Scarcity Risks and Footprints in the Supply Chain Summit

Global businesses will be debating the issue of decreasing water availability and declining water quality at the Understanding, Measuring and Managing Water Scarcity Risks and Footprints in the Supply Chain Conference next month in San Francisco, California (Feb 25-26th).
As a strategic partner of the event, ERM will be facilitating the opening session which will include presentations by organizations including Nike, Rio Tinto, Intel and Procter and Gamble.
Steven Avadek will also be presenting as session on Assessing Business Risks through Enhanced Water Footprinting Methods: Case Study Findings, and ERM’s US Western Division Managing Director, Mike Smylie will host a VIP & Speakers dinner in the evening of Feb 25.
The summit brings together multi-national corporations, with complex international supply chains, to share insights on measuring water use in volume and investigating new and innovative strategies to secure your business in regions of increasing water scarcity. Delegates from every continent will be focusing on the Food and Beverage, Consumer Goods, Energy and Mining, Agriculture, Raw Material Sourcing and Industrial Manufacturing sectors. Presentations and discussions will also include a deep regional analysis of Western USA, Africa, China, South America and both Southern and Eastern Europe.
