Lord Browne of Madingley opens ERM's new Abu Dhabi office
14 March 2012
Former BP Chief Executive Lord Browne, accompanied by two senior British Embassy individuals, including the Deputy Director for UK Trade and Investment, officially opened ERM’s new office in Abu Dhabi.
Lord Browne noted with interest the provision of sustainability consultancy services by ERM for oil and gas companies in the region and commented that it was encouraging to see British business thriving in this sector in the regional market.
ERM has been working in the Middle East for over 30 years and the recent growth in demand for consultancy services in the UAE and across the Middle East has driven rapid expansion of its local operations including the move to its new office location.
ERM’s Middle East operations has a principal focus on the oil and gas sector and supports the major national and international oil, gas and petrochemical companies active in the region. The Abu Dhabi office is the central hub for ERM’s work in the Middle East and services work in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar.
