Toby Whincup

Global Director, Critical Minerals & Partner

Toby Whincup is based in Perth, Western Australia and has been a sustainability consultant in the resources sector for 25 years. He is a Partner at ERM, a global sustainability advisory firm, where he is the Global Director for Critical Minerals. Toby advises mining and metals value chain clients on non-technical and ESG risks across the project life cycle and has worked across Australia, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and North America.

Louise Pearce

Global Industry Lead, Mining

Louise Pearce has over 25 years of international experience in sustainability consulting. She concentrates on developing corporate strategy and risk management programs, alongside managing complex global due diligence and post-merger integrations for the mining sector. Louise has an understanding of the key global mining health, safety, environment and community (HSEC) challenges and opportunities facing the sector, and works with major, mid-tier and junior mining companies to integrate the management of these risks into strategic business plans and life of mine plans. Louise was recently recognized as one of the Top-100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining - 2016 by the non-profit organization, Women in Mining. She holds a professional designation in risk management awarded by the Global Risk Management Institute and holds postgraduate qualifications in Sustainability and Risk Management.
