Rebekah is a marine consultant in Marine Renewables & Infrastructure Capital Projects Delivery Consents team while supporting Marine and Onshore Ecology. She delivers projects in renewables and the marine environment. She is passionate about the environment, sustainability and marine life and I support the conservation of ecosystems and habitats globally.

Andy has 18+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry, initially in academia and for the last 17 years in consultancy. The majority of his consulting experience has been in providing technical due diligence for onshore and offshore wind projects, having lead advisory teams on projects in five continents and countless countries. Andy has experience working across both debt and equity markets and has a proven track record in delivering commercial and technical appraisals on development and operational stage projects/portfolios.  

Yvonne is passionate about stakeholder engagement. Experienced in proactively engaging with stakeholders across a diverse industry range. Delivering effective communications across all levels of communities, fisheries, public sector and industry and feeding back to engineering and technical teams. Delivery of Stakeholder engagment strategies and plans. Experienced in public consultation and delivery of public information evenings and in situ community meetings. Outstanding interpersonal, presentation and networking skills.

Becky has over 25 years’ experience as a marine ecologist, environmental assessment scientist and a national and international policymaker. From 2015 – 2020, she led the UK’s environmental input to the International Seabed Authority’s deep-seabed mining negotiations, and was an integral member of the UK’s Delegation to the ISA Council. She also led environmental input into the UK Government’s deep-seabed mining strategy, developed across four government departments.

She now works with the ISA as a member of the Legal and Technical Commission, particularly providing expertise on environmental assessment. She is co-chair of the LTC’s noise and light thresholds working group and has provided her experience in helping to lead the development of REMP standardised procedures and guidances.

Becky’s deep-seabed minerals skills were developed from her ecological and policy skills working with offshore industries in the UK. She has a proven track record governments to create, develop and operationalise environmental science and policy from her time in JNCC working with regulators, contractors and academia. She is recognised as a national expert on MPA site management; especially the ecology and impact assessments for subtidal sandbanks, biogenic and geogenic reefs, and features of muddy sediments. In her role as a principal consultant at ERM, she has a track record of delivering practical HRA and EIA advice for regulators, government departments and developers, as well as developing derogation and compensation options to allow innovative delivery of permit conditions.

James is an ambitious, driven and versatile environmental professional specialising in offshore renewables and marine development both in the UK and internationally. He is specialized in offshore renewables, large scale EIA assessment, project management/controls, marine and environmental legislation, multidisciplinary technical integration.

Huw has a scientific background with a PhD in coastal processes from Southampton, but has spent most of his career in commercial roles supporting marine infrastructure developments across sectors such as LNG, O&G production and, over the last 20 years, offshore wind. Huw has held roles with Cefas, that of executive director of an offshore survey consultancy undertaking site surveys for array and export cable characterisations, a period with Orsted as Head of UK Environment and Consents and, more recently, as a Partner with ERM providing environmental and sustainability expertise to offshore wind developers and operators.

Huw is a highly experienced marine industry leader offering a wide range of business expertise drawn from offshore wind and other markets: strategic planning, P&L responsibility, implementing business development and growth initiatives, contractual risk management, with a proven ability to create value through internal & external relationships, to lead change, and develop talent.
