The cost of producing green hydrogen is dependent on the price of renewable energy, the advancement of electrolyser technology, and the accessibility of water for electrolysis. Presently, the average cost of green hydrogen exceeds both grey and blue hydrogen. However, through technology innovation and supply chain optimization the price of green hydrogen will become increasingly competitive, paving the way for an affordable green hydrogen economy.
