Mike Wallace is a Partner at ERM and is responsible for expanding market engagement across North America, developing new and existing strategic partnerships, providing innovative corporate responsibility and sustainability solutions to clients. His most recent work on social and human capital issues has included strategic engagements with the Center for Safety and Health Sustainability (CSHS), IMPACT2030 and the Social & Human Capital Coalition. Mike established and then directed GRI’s North American operations from 2010 to 2014, where he was instrumental in driving sustainability and reporting across the North American economy. Mike’s 20 years of international experience in the sustainability field provides clients and strategic partners with a global view of the sustainability landscape.
Samir Menon is a Partner based in ERM’s Washington DC office and has over 25 years of experience in helping Fortune 500 companies with their strategic information technology investments. His primary experience has been developing the strategy and establishing the data and enterprise information architecture required to meet enterprise EH&S and Product Stewardship requirements and applying analytics to leverage this information across the organization. Another key area of focus has been in supporting companies to effectively manage their Information Architecture after a merger, acquisition or divestiture. He has spent extensive time working with companies in the Manufacturing (primarily Chemical, Aerospace and Controls), Mining and Oil & Gas sectors. In addition to his information management experience, Mr. Menon also has extensive experience in team leadership, strategy and business process development and optimization. He specializes in helping organizations facing rapid growth or market change strategically understand the business imperatives and implement effective process for continued growth.
Sarah Medearis is a Partner based in ERM’s Washington, DC office. She has 30 years of consulting experience with various global environmental firms. 10 years product stewardship services focused on emerging regulatory risks. More recently led project assessing and addressing single-use-plastics in the supply chain for a leading global brand. Ms. Medearis has both a Masters and Bachelors Degrees in Geochemistry from Brown University and Wellesley College, respectively.
Maryann Sanders is a Technical Director at ERM and is based in our Holland, Michigan office. She has 20 years of experience in chemical, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals & healthcare sectors. Her experience includes working with US and international regulations and guidelines governing the use of chemicals and products in the global marketplace. She utilizes her knowledge in toxicology, microbiology and regulatory compliance for the development and submission of dossiers and risk assessments to regulatory entities in the US and abroad. Specific regulatory expertise includes, US EPA Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, the European Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals Regulation, Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive - recast, food and food packaging regulations, California Proposition 65, US SEC Dodd-Frank Conflict Minerals Rule.
Steve Smith is a Technical Director at ERM based in our Philadelphia office and has 15 years’ experience in the Specialty Chemical sector. Steve has established himself as a recognized expert and problem solver through the application of product stewardship, advocacy and regulatory principals. He is experienced in leveraging the regulatory obligations and market-driven expectations that drive business to provide a greener, safer and more sustainable portfolio of products and solutions.
Chuck McCormick leads the product stewardship and chemical compliance practice within ERM IS focusing on business process technology enablement solutions. Chuck’s experience spans over 30 years across EHS operational compliance auditing & management system development; product stewardship & global product compliance program development; and EHS&S information systems business transformation strategy, design and deployment. He brings a unique blend of facility and corporate program EHS knowledge and experience with enterprise technology enablement across the EH&S domain including supply chain and product development adjacencies. Chuck has built his skills and experience in serving leading global industrial and governmental clients effectively solving challenging and complex EHS requirements. He holds chemical & environmental engineering degrees, is a licensed Professional Engineer and is six sigma certified. Mr. McCormick is broadly recognized as a foremost expert in the SAP S/4 HANA EH&S business transformation solution design and delivery.
