AWMA 2014 Oil & Gas Environmental Compliance Conference

This year's AWMA conference addressed multi-media topics such as air quality, water use and treatment, waste disposal, spill protection, local issues, and data management challenges throughout the shale plays in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and New York. Speakers included regulatory authorities, industry environmental managers, environmental interest groups, and industry experts.

The mission of AWMA is to assist in the professional development and knowledge sharing among decision-makers and professionals within the environmental industry. Their membership includes many of ERM’s clients and potential clients, as well as other environmental professionals. They offer a forum to discuss and exchange ideas on how to solve the challenges faced by across a number of industry sectors. ERM has an organizational membership with AWMA and participates in local and national AWMA functions, such as this conference. This particular conference is focused on the oil & gas sector, and we anticipate a strong showing by our local client base.
