Bloomberg Sustainable Business Summit New York

ERM will be presenting in New York at a new event in the Bloomberg Sustainable Business Summit’s 2019 program focused on Finance, Strategy and the Sustainable Development Goals.

This half-day event in New York brings together business and finance leaders for insightful, data-driven conversations about how companies are aligning their strategies with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how investors are tracking and evaluating those strategies.

ERM  Partner Jaideep Das will present on ‘SDG Reporting – Tracking Impact’ and best practices for evaluating the integrations of the SDGs and how to disclose and report action.

Once a company has integrated the SDGs into their business model, how do they communicate their progress? In this session, companies will share best practices for evaluating the integration of the SDGs and how to disclose and report action.

Jaideep Das is a Partner at ERM and the Account Director for services to Private Markets clients. Jaideep also acts as the global lead for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) advisory services and his work has included supporting Fund Managers apply market-leading approaches to integrate ESG factors in their strategy, investment and ownership processes. Jaideep has worked extensively for Private Markets clients including Permira, Bain Capital, Bridgepoint, Carlyle, EQT, Partners Group, KKR, MidEuropa, Advent, IFM and Inflexion and Limited Partners (LPs) such as PGGM and APG. 

Jaideep was retained by InvestEurope from 2012-2015 to co-develop and deliver their Integrating ESG training course to 60+ Fund Managers and LPs.  Jaideep was an author of the PRI-ERM guidance on ESG Monitoring, Reporting and Dialogue in Private Equity published in 2018.  Jaideep is an environmental engineer by background and has a Masters in environmental economics and sustainability management from Strathclyde Business School.
