25 January 2012
ERM will be presenting 17 papers at the Energy Utility and the Environment Conference (EUEC) 2012, which is being held from January 31- February 1 in Phoenix, Arizona. The event is North America’s largest professional networking and educational event for environmental specialists in the power industry.
Organized jointly by a team of directors from the US Environmental Protection Agency, the Electric Power Research Institute and the Edison Electric Institute, the event welcomes over 2,000 delegates. This includes environmental business leaders, energy executives, NGOs and government policymakers coming to discuss the various issues facing energy generation. These issues range from technical solutions to meet the clean air and water regulations to mitigation measures to limit the impact of wind turbines on bird migration.
ERM is a leader in helping our power clients manage the impact of their facilities on the environment. ERM consultants from across North America are scheduled to present 17 papers covering topics from energy and climate change, to clean technologies, policy and legislation, carbon capture and storage, greenhouse gas strategies, biofuels and biomass, and renewable energy. ERM is also hosting a booth and a client reception.
