Sustainability Report 2015
About this report
We continue to evolve our sustainability reporting to reflect our improved performance. This is our third report prepared according to the GRI G4 Guidelines. We were among the first companies to report in accordance with G4 — a significant step for ERM, and one that we believe was important in our role as the leading global sustainability consultancy and as a GRI Organizational Stakeholder (OS).
Linden Edgell, Global Sustainability Program Director
In this section, we provide basic information about our sustainability report, our approach to external assurance, an overview of the data collected to support how we manage our sustainability performance, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 Content Index and an index corresponding to our progress in implementing the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.
This is ERM's fourth Sustainability Report, and our third report to the GRI G4 Guidelines.
We safeguard the quality of the information contained in this report through a robust assurance process leveraging external and internal expertise.
To measure our social, economic and environmental impacts and support programs for improving our sustainability performance, ERM collects and reports data relevant to our global operations. The data are grouped, where applicable, in alignment with the focus areas presented in this report.
As required by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 reporting guidelines, we provide an index with the location of specific disclosures in this report. We also provide a separate index corresponding to our progress in implementing the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact.
