ERM acquires JSC International Limited to bolster Chemical Sector capability
In response to the growing demand for product stewardship services, ERM acquired JSC International Limited (JSC), a consultancy in the United Kingdom that helps organizations in the chemical sector navigate the complexities of the regulatory environment in the European Union.
Established in 1992, with a staff of 30, JSC offers a full range of consulting services including data gap analysis, study monitoring, preparation and submission of dossiers, and post-submission support. JSC brings with it long-term relationships with many of its clients, a strong reputation for high quality client service and a team of highly skilled specialists.
There are many benefits to ERM and JSC from this acquisition. The chemical sector is a key sector for ERM, and we are committed to growing our presence and delivering high-value services to clients dealing with challenging regulatory frameworks across the world. By acquiring JSC, we are able to extend our technical expertise in agrochemicals and biocides to our registration and authorization process management services. The acquisition also strengthens ERM's leading position in the product stewardship and sustainability market, as part of our plans to broaden our support capability to meet the growing demand from the sector.
This is a significant step in our long-term growth strategy as we continue to expand our business both organically and through acquisitions of companies with complementary capabilities and sectorial and geographical reach.
