Recent economic and social disruptions have made clear the urgency of shifting from discussion to action, as astute business leaders look to become more resilient and reimagine a better future with sustainability at the core.
ERM has been a signatory of PRI since 2017, and we report on our performance in support of the principles on an annual basis. During the past year, ERM has actively applied, advanced and promoted the PRI Principles in several ways:
- Delivering a webinar on PRI Climate Risks Reporting and how to address new requirements;
- Serving as a sponsor, exhibitor and speaker at the Private Equity International (PEI) Responsible Investment Forum: Europe 2020, co-hosted with PRI;
- Serving as a sponsor, exhibitor and speaker at the AVCJ ESG Virtual Forum, co-hosted with the PRI;
- Helping companies across the banking, private equity, asset management, insurance, infrastructure, transportation, energy, utilities, mining, cement, industrials, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverage sectors undertake scenario analysis, evaluate commercial consequences and make strategic decisions based on the results; and
- Working with companies to meet TCFD recommendations as they assess their climate-related business risks and prepare to disclose information to the investment community and other key stakeholders as they work to assess their potential exposure.
